Procedures

Both non-members and members may nominate PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS through this process. PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS may also nominate themselves for awards. Individuals are limited to contributing one entry for each category to a maximum of three (3) different categories. 2012 award nominations are due by July 1, 2012. Failure to follow these and other submission guidelines will result in elimination from the competition.

Individuals being nominated grant Career Professionals of Canada the right to disclose parts or all of the nomination submission information for evaluation, marketing, and educational purposes. If you are submitting a nomination for an individual other than yourself, please ensure you have the approval of the nominee prior to your submission. Nominators will be asked to confirm that they have notified the nominee by supplying the nominee’s email address as part of the submission process.

Nominations are evaluated by an independent Award Committee. Judges volunteer their time and expertise to the process. Career Professionals of Canada selects each award recipient based upon the most stringent industry standards. Upon judging, if there are no suitable entries for a specific category, there will be no winner awarded for that category. To ensure impartiality in judging, a consistent evaluation form is utilized for each award. Further, to ascertain a fair and equitable process, judges abstain from evaluating any categories where they, themselves are nominated, or if they are unable to be impartial for any other reason.
